I know who I am but this world tries very hard to break that down, so I came to the realization that I should list out some things that I know I am...
Here goes:
I am a young woman, obviously.
I am a strawberry blonde, though some would say redhead or ginger. It is also natural other than the random stripes I put in it every now and then that are temporary.
I am a worshiper. I am a singer. I am a moderate piano player and guitar player, and I love it all.
I am an encourager. That may not make much sense but I love to encourage people, I love it. I love lifting people up.
I am an overcomer, by the grace of God I am where I am today and my future is bright.
I am a pattern lover, I love all patterns.
I am a crafter and DIY-er.
I am an animal lover, I have many animals and want more and I even have bottle-fed and fostered baby kittens.
I am a good person, despite what others think sometimes from the things they have heard from others. I am not a bad person, I just listen to what God says above all others and sometimes that upsets people.
I have changed and will continue to keep changing. I'm afraid of change, but I am working on getting over that.
I believe in exercising and eating right, but not obsession. Nothing should become an idol, not even looking great and being healthy.
I believe in God, I believe in Him not because some religion says I have to, but because He has shown me over and over again that He will never leave me or forsake me and that He is for me and to me that is Beautiful.
I am a lot more than what people see in this five foot two shell. I pray that I can be a light in every place I go.
I am me, I am Alexis Grace. Everything is great and Life is good because I am who I am and no one can change me to make me who I am not. I am blessed.
